The little researcher in me woke up with this insatiable thirst to perform this little experiment. I wanted to know which posts of mine were viewed the most and if there was trend to the preferences. I must say I was in for a surprise and I am grappling to find logical explanations for viewers preferences over the posts they selected. Most of the recipes chosen are old which tells me people do look up old posts. In fact 6 of them are typical Kerala dishes I would have never posted in the first place because I find them so easy and I thought they would not make attractive posts for the kind of pictures I have clicked of them. But to my surprise till date these recipes seem to receive 6- 10 clicks on an average every day. Which also makes me wonder if this is because people are looking for recipes that are easy to make for their daily cooking viz-a- viz fancy dishes that would require buying additional ingredients which they may not use after one experiment. So the recipes I took great pain and effort to look attractive in pics have not attracted my readers as the simple, homely recipes have. I thought FB would get me more readers for my new recipes but I am still surprised to see people checking out older recipes and commenting on them. It also surprises me that there is a huge fan following for pork recipes though I was of the impression that very few people eat pork. Which has led me to conclude that I should not take readers for granted not the readers who come to m blog atleast. That maybe I should not dismiss someone who says " why don't you put up your sambar recipe?" thinking it as a dumb request because anyone could make sambar. So though I enjoy baking and cooking recipes that are elaborate, I have decided to put up every recipe of mine that was shoved away because I found no merit in posting them, because of their simple status. So yes I am going to post some typical Kerala dishes, some North Indian inspired Kerala style dishes and the numerous varieties of chutneys. pickles and rice my mom invented.
For now I want to share the top rated posts of this blog with the number of clicks per recipe

I have not been able to post anything new off lately. I have finally relocated to Bangalore which means I get to cook daily but I don't find the time to write posts with my work. It's also a bit cloudy here these days preventing me from taking good pics. But for now I hope this post will keep me connected to the followers of this blog. I have a couple of food reviews coming up and also interesting posts on some typical Kerala snacks. I am planning to try a couple of recipes I have hoarded while I was in Chennai. It's turning cold here these days so I am planning to try out a few soups. I am gonna try them one by one so it seems like I have got a promising scene out here. So please me patient with me. And I could do with a couple of comments for motivation. And till we meet again ciao, ciao.
