Pasta Olio Aglio

Thanks to Central Gourmet and Vicky Ratnani, I discovered this easy recipe some months ago when I was home. I never watched TV back at hostel so I had missed a lot of shows. And I also could not cook for years in hostels. So when I got a break and a kitchen with stuff I tried out all those pending recipes in my collection. During the world cup matches I tried a couple of snacks that could be made in between the intervals. So once such afternoon when India was batting against West Indies, I tried this recipe. And like Vicky Ratnani I agreed - " Lovely indeed".

Ingredients for Pasta Olio Aglio

Penne pasta- 1 cup boiled
Chilly flakes- 1 tsp
Butter- 2 tsp
Garlic- 5 pods crushed
Olive oil- 2 tsp
Mozarella- 1/2 cup
Spring onions- 2 sprigs chopped

Directions

Boil the pasta and pour cold water over it while draining. Saute garlic in a pan and add the chilli flakes and spring onions. Now add the pasta and grated cheese. Serve with a dash of butter. It's a delight for non spicy food lovers which is precisely why I don't make it for my hubby who might insist a dash of garam masala for sure :)

This is one pasta that needs no great ingredients so go ahead try the pasta olio aglio.
