
I had some leftover chicken curry and I wanted to have a salad so I cooked up this recipe. I made it quite tangy and my husband did not like it too tangy so if you guys share my husband's taste make it less tangy. I am trying to diet but I fail to stick to my diet plans and without a non veg component my husband would not touch a salad so here's a tangy salad.
Ingredients for Curried chicken salad
Curried chicken- 4-5 pieces shredded
Carrot- 1 chopped
Tomato- 1 chopped
Pineapple - 3-4 pieces chopped
Thousand island dressing- 3-4 spoon
Mustard sauce- 1 tsp
Jalapeno pepper- 3- 4 slices
Directions
Shred the chicken and chop all the remaining ingredients. In a bowl mix mustard and thousand island sauce. Add jalapenos to this salad dressing and this gives the tangy base. Now into this dressing add the chopped vegetables and mix well. Your curried chicken salad is ready. Hmmm for vegetarians substitute chicken with paneer, tofu or mushrooms.
